FAQs

  • How do I download a print driver for my device?

    Follow this link to the download center where you will search the model number of your MFP device. Then follow the express install instructions.

  • What do I do if my machine is jamming?

    Locate the jam, the panel should explain where in your machine the jam is located. Once located if easily accessed, clear the jam. Do not use excessive force and do not take anything apart.

    Other small ways to prevent jams in the future are to occasionally fan your paper, make sure all paper guides are tight and flush with the paper, and make sure to ALWAYS check for paper clips, staples, and any other binding objects that may inhibit the flow and separation of the paper.

  • What do I do if there are lines on my copies?

    Use a microfiber cloth to clean all the glass on your device. Do not use water or glass cleaner on your device as this can cause streaks on the glass or damage to the device.

  • What do I do if my prints, copies, or scans are skewed?

    Check that all paper guides are tight and flush with the paper in all drawers and on the ADF (Automatic
    Document Feeder) this is your machine’s top scanner. Also, make sure that all binding elements have been removed from your original if copying or scanning.

  • What do I do if I cannot print?

    Check that you have selected the correct printer. You can change the nickname of the printer if it is more helpful. If you and your team cannot print power down the device and restart it. If you are frequently changing the network your laptop is on powering down and restarting your personal device can help with connectivity issues as well.

Toner

  • Recycling

    Kyocera has a recycling program for empty toner containers. Reach out to your Business Solutions Consultant to sign up.  This program provides your team with pre-paid postage boxes to collect old toner containers and once full it is already addressed to send off to recycle!

  • Ordering

    JQ Office has software that helps us monitor your toner levels and we get a notification when you are running low. We will automatically send you the needed toner before you run out. This does not apply to staples, postage ink, sealant, or postage labels.

  • Installing

    When installing new toner in your device there are instructions in the box and there may also be a QR Code on the outside of the box with a how-to video. This should help explain where the toner goes and how to install it.
